The following matrix provides adjusted Working Load Limits (WLL) based on steel thickness and maximum recommended sheet lengths to compensate for material sag during single-magnet applications.

2:1 Design Factor: The listed Working Load Limit (WLL) values represent 50% of the actual breakaway force under ideal testing conditions.
Overlength Sheets: When lifting metal plates exceeding 8 feet in length, it is highly recommended to distribute the load across two or more lifters spaced on a spreader bar. This minimizes material flexing, sagging, and dangerous peel-off risks.
Magnetic Bleed-Through: Use extreme caution when handling thin materials. The magnetic flux lines can penetrate completely through thin gauges, causing the lifter to pick up two sheets at the same time.
Contact Surface Requirements: For proper magnetic engagement and mechanical release, the material being lifted must completely cover the full length and width of both the magnetic poles and the roller cam.
Round Material Limitations: Round surface values are calculated based on ideal parameters. Please consult the factory for technical guidance before attempting to utilize these magnets on round or cylindrical profiles.
