The Cleveland KGL40T is a 40-gallon self-contained gas tilting kettle designed for high-volume commercial batch cooking. Its 2/3 steam-jacketed construction and high-efficiency Power Burner heating system provide fast heat-up and recovery for cooking, simmering, and heating large quantities of food.
Standard solid-state controls provide an operating temperature range of 145°F to 260°F with less than ±1°C temperature variance. The control panel includes a power on/off control, a 1–10 temperature dial, and LED indicators for the heat cycle and low-water warning.
The kettle features a permanently filled 50 PSI steam jacket, insulated heat exchanger, automatic hot-surface ignition, front-mounted pressure/vacuum gauge, and a self-locking mechanical tilt system. Adjustable flanged feet allow the unit to be leveled and bolted securely to the floor.
